LOS ANGELES (KNX)--Police are currently looking for a man who shot his girlfriend to death while he was riding along with her and her two young children in an SUV Sunday afternoon.
Police say that Sharon Carter, 31 years old, was shot Sunday around 5pm. Immediately after the shooting the victim's car collided with two other vehicles on the 9600 block of Compton Avenue. The alleged shooter, who police identified as 33-year-old Mark Picart of Los Angeles, fled on foot from the scene.
Picart may currently be driving a green 2002 Nissan Altima, license plate number: 5VFN831.
