LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles police have arrested a man they claim used a blowtorch to damage 11 cars in the San Fernando Valley.
Sgt. Pablo Monterrosa says police began receiving calls shortly before 1:30 a.m. Friday that vehicles were on fire in Canoga Park and Winnetka. Wheels and fenders were melted.
A man was arrested at his home about 45 minutes later and booked for investigation of arson. His name was not immediately released.
No motive for the attacks was released.
