UPLAND, CA (AP) -- A twin-engine plane lost power and slammed into homes Monday while approaching Cable Airport for landing.
There was no fire.
The Piper Seneca, with two people on board, was approaching Cable Airport when it lost power and crashed into three homes on Blossom Circle, said Ian Gregor, spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.
''We do have injuries,'' Gregor said.
Television helicopters showed the plane on the roof of a home and damage to two others. Weather didn't appear to be a factor. It was sunny with no clouds or fog.
Upland is about 45 miles east of Los Angeles.
