LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- A small brush fire broke out in Elysian Park near Dodger Stadium and the Los Angeles Police Academy just before noon Sunday. The fire burned three to five acres of heavy brush. Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman, Brian Humphrey told KNX, firefighters took quick work of the blaze as they attacked the fire by ground and air. No structures including Dodger Stadium were ever threatened. The Dodgers were scheduled to play Sunday, but were in San Diego.
