LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a man who allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend, shot another woman in an attempted carjacking and kidnapped four children, including two of his own.
Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner says 29-year-old Angel Samos (shown above) was arrested Sunday about 5:30 p.m. in Long Beach. And all four children have been recovered unharmed.
Ramos fled Saturday with his ex-girlfriend's 11-year-old daughter and 6-year-old niece and his two sons, ages 1 and 5.
The 24-year-old motorist who was shot has been hospitalized in critical but stable condition and is expected to survive.
