BOSTON (CBS) -- It's finally for real, according to Us magazine: New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and model Gisele Bundchen are husband and wife.
After several media reports of their marriage over the past year proved to be wrong, they were married Thursday at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., the magazine reported.
The 28-year-old bride wore a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt and a long train. Her long veil featured hand-made satin roses.
The evening ceremony was described by a source as "very small and intimate," the magazine said, attended mostly by immediate family members.
Among those attending was Brady's 18-month-old son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, whose mother is Brady's former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, the magazine said.
The Brazilian-born Bundchen and the 31-year-old football player had dated since 2006.
Last year, they purchased an $11.7 million plot of land in a gated community in the wealthy Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
