Larry began reporting traffic for KNX in 1998. Prior to coming to Los Angeles he was an airborne traffic reporter, news reporter, and director of operations for Shadow Traffic in San Diego. His professional career started in 1981 while he was studying recording engineering at UCLA. After doing studio work and being on the road as a soundman, he left the music and recording businesses and became a paralegal and computer programmer. He has been a radio personality on several Southern California radio stations since 1990.
