KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO Mid-Day traffic anchor Meghan Reyes was born and raised in Southern California. Meghan joined the KNX family in 1998 as an airborne reporter. Despite being involved in an in-flight fire in her aircraft in February 1999, she continues to fly for KNX 1070 during the afternoon drive and anchors the traffic during the mid-day on KNX NEWSRADIO.
Meghan received the first place award for Best Breaking News for 2003 by the Los Angeles Press Club for her live coverage of the Glendale shootout. She was also awarded Best Spot News by Associated Press for 2003, covering the same story live for KNX. Meghan was also a part of the award winning new team for her live reports from London Heathrow in 2006 during the " Terror Threat Red " coverage.
Meghan is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying during her spare time on the weekends.
