Vicky Moore
joined KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO in January 2004 as morning news anchor and has spent over a decade in Los Angeles radio news. Prior to joining KNX, Vicky was a field reporter and news anchor for KFI. She moved to L.A. after working for Sacramento's top rated news station KFBK. Before that, she anchored newscasts for KUIC-FM and produced for KXOA-FM, both in the Sacramento area.

During her broadcast career, Vicky has reported on everything from police and court cases, to school board hearings, and all branches of local and state government. She has covered some of L.A.'s highest profile news stories, including the murder trials of O.J. Simpson and the Menendez Brothers, the L.A. Riots, the Northridge earthquake and several major Southern California wildfires. Vicky was also one of the few members of the media to witness California's last execution by lethal gas at San Quentin Prison. Her live reports of these events and others have been featured on stations in major cities throughout the country and several national radio news networks.

Vicky has earned more than a dozen awards for broadcast excellence, including coveted Golden Mikes, in a variety of categories ranging from hard news to light features.

Vicky and her ex-New Yorker husband live in and love Los Angeles. They're kept busy by their two sons.
