When news is breaking in Latin America Adrienne Bard is there. One reason is it's in her "back yard." As a Mexico City resident, Ms. Bard is very familiar with people and events making news in her part of the world and not only does she do reports for CBS News but also exclusive reports for KNX.
Her extensive broadcast journalism background includes being an associate producer for television's "60 Minutes," "Frontline," "Up To The Minute," and "The Early Show." She has also filed reports for the New York Times, Business Week, World Business, Mexico Business, and the Copley News Service, which includes the San Diego Union.
Prior to going to Mexico, Ms. Bard worked for the New York Times, Roseville Press-Tribune, and the Sacramento Union. She speaks fluent Spanish as well as Hebrew and French.
Married with three children, she received her BS in Journalism and her BA in History from UC Berkeley, and her MS in Journalism from Columbia University.
