LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- All the hoopla has died down, and we're finding out exactly how many same-sex couples are getting married.
The Los Angeles Times reports more than 2,700 marriage licenses were issued by the state between 5:01 p.m. on Monday and the closeof business Tuesday. That's more licenses than a typical WEEK in June.
LA County issued the most: 649 licenses over the two days, many to same-sex couples.
