John Ramey joined KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO in February 2006. In addition to his duties as sports anchor and KNX1070.com web editor, John has held or performed the duties of almost every job in the KNX 1070 newsroom.
John has been working as a sports broadcaster since 1994. He currently serves as play-by-play voice for UC Riverside Basketball and Baseball. John is also a West Coast football play-by-play voice for iBNsports.com. And, he served as the voice of the Inagural Puppy Games on Animal Planet in August 2008.
John is a professional musician, singer, and songwriter. He released his debut solo album (Flying Blind) in October, 2006. John and his band (The Orchestra) tour throughout California and the United States.
John currently lives in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles.
