BEIJING (AP) -- America's second-ranking diplomat is in China, for discussions expected to focus on the Iranian and North Korean nuclear programs and the crisis in Myanmar after the deadly cyclone there.
Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte arrived in Beijing on Sunday, for a series of meetings with top Chinese officials that the State Department says will cover``a broad range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.''
Negroponte earlier visited South Korea and Japan, where he also discussed the situation in Myanmar following the devastating cyclone.
