LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- The average price of one gallon of gasoline in greater Los Angeles has crossed over the $4.50 cent mark, according to the Auto Club's fuel gauge report.
Prices blew past the $4.49 average yesterday to $4.54 for a gallon of regular unleaded. Mid-grade gas offers no relief, either: $4.83, on average. Premium grade gas will cost you $4.91, and Diesel is $5.16 per gallon.
Gas outside of the LA-Long Beach area isn't any cheaper. It went up six cents in Orange County, putting the average now at $4.53 a gallon.
In Santa Barbara, the average is now $4.61 a gallon.
