LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- 15 earthquakes have rattled Southern California since 9 p.m. last night. Two have been measured above 4.0 magnitude, and six have been over 2.0.
The lastest quake hit @ 1.53 p.m. 16 North of Trona, near Death Valley. It was measured at 3.2.
The first of these hit around 9 p.m. approximately 27 miles South of Palm Springs, outside of Borrego Springs. The quake was measured as a magnitude 4.2. It was followed by a 2.4 magnitude quake about thirty minutes later, also centered in Borrego Springs.

The second 4.0+ quake struck around 1.10 a.m. The 4.4 temblor was centered about 35 miles East of Bakersfield in Lake Isabella. That quake was followed by quakes of 2.8 and 2.4, both centered near Lake Isabella.
