LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- The Screen Actors Guild is meeting tonight to discuss re-starting contract negotiations with producers that broke down two weeks ago. Hollywood producers say they're willing to go back to the bargaining table on May 28. By then the producers expect to wrap up a contract with AFTRA, which is a smaller actors union.
The Screen Actors Guild has been aiming for better pay, and compensation for digital media. Many people in Hollywood fear a strike if no deal is reached before the guild contract expires on June 30. |
