MALIBU (CNS) -- Prince William is shopping for a house in Malibu, according to an Internet Web site that is quoting local real estate agents.
The Real Estate Channel is reporting that the prince and his heiress girlfriend, Kate Middleton, took a look at one listing this weekend. That house was listed at $8 million, but has already been sold, the Web site reported.
Prince William is not the first member of the royal family to shop for Malibu Real Estate. His mother, Diana Princess of Wales, had placed a deposit on an oceanfront home in Paradise Cove shortly before her death in 1997, according to local press reports at the time.
William is the elder son of Diana and Prince Charles, and as such could be the King of England some day.
