Ron Kilgore is a 36-year broadcast veteran in radio and television news.
Before joining KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO in March 2005, he was a producer/anchor for NBC News Radio, as well as a guest host for America in the Morning and First Light, nationally syndicated morning news magazines.
Ron previously was host of the nationally syndicated morning business program, The Wall Street Journal This Morning. Los Angeles news radio listeners also know Ron from his work at KFWB, where he hosted and produced the Los Angeles Times Noon Business Hour and was a morning news anchor and an entertainment reporter. Ever versatile, Ron has also been the lead correspondent for Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
Ron has won 10 Golden Mikes for his excellence in sports, news and economic reporting. He has been honored with the American Bar Association Award of Merit, the Arizona AP Governor's Cup and numerous AP awards.
