WESTMINSTER (CBS) -- Authorities are searching for a man who tried to abduct two women near a Westminster park, police warned.

The separate incidents occurred between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on July 18 and July 24 near Sigler Park, 7200 Plaza St., Westminster police Officer Van Woodson said.
Both women, who were alone at the time, were able to get away uninjured, he said.
The man, who is in his late 20s, is thin and was wearing jewel stud earrings in both ears, Woodson said.
During the first incident he was wearing a bright orange baseball cap and a bright orange or red short-sleeve T-shirt, and the second time he wore a collared, striped shirt and shorts, Woodson said.
He was in a white small compact car, possibly a Toyota or Honda, that he parked across from the park.
