LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO)  -- It's been 11 years since rapper Notorious BIG was murdered after leaving a party at the Peterson Auto Museum in LA and his family is still seeking justice in court. A wrongful death lawsuit that had been dismissed has just been reinstated and given the go ahead for Federal Court. 

BIG's family contends that rogue police officers working as security guards conspired to kill the rapper and that the LAPD covered up their involvement. 

No one was ever arrested.
