LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- Police are looking for a man who's been sneaking into homes in L.A.'s Lincoln Heights area and fondling sleeping women -- and they believe he's the same man arrested for a similar crime in the same area, a year ago.
He's been named as 21-year-old Rogelio Galvan (shown in photo above).
Police think he's the man involved in a series of so-called ``hot prowl'' burglaries during the late-night and early-morning hours of April 26 and 27, in which several homes were entered late at night while the residents were home.
That suspicion is based on forensic evidence found at the scenes, which appears to link the latest incidents to Galvan.
In each of the recent incidents, the burglar entered the property by removing window screens. And in each case, he ran off after his victims woke up.
Police are urging Lincoln Heights residents to be very cautious about leaving windows open, even in hot weather.
Galvan is Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches and weights about 140 pounds. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call police.
