LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO)  -- The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health will be offering mental health crisis counseling services to survivors of the Chatsworth Metrolink crash and families affected by the disaster, at two San Fernando Valley locations starting on Monday. People are advised to call in advance for appointments, but walk-ins will also be served as fully as possible.

The locations are:

1)  The San Fernando Valley Mental Health Center
      10605 Balboa Blvd., Suite #100
      Granada Hills, CA  91344

2)   The West Valley Mental Health Center
       7621 Canoga Ave.
       Canoga Park, CA  91304
       Phone: (818) 598-6900

Hours of operation will be 8:00am-5:00pm.

For more information and after-hour services, people can contact the Department of Mental Health's ACCESS center at (800) 854-7771. That center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week including all holidays.
