Decision Means Project Delayed Until at Least Late 2009
LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- There's a big setback to plans to extend the Metro Gold LIne from Pasadena to Montclair.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority board has voted to take the extension off a critical-funding list. The $1.4 billion project is still on a secondary list of important transit projects. But that means it won't get started at least until the end of 2009.
Supporters had hoped to break ground sometime during this year.
