LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- Gas prices are getting down...and have been now for 30 days in a row. Today's average price for a gallon of self-serve unleaded in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area is $4.18. That's 40 cents lower than a month ago.
In Orange County the average is $4.13, 42 cents below last month's price.
The Triple A says this is all because there's less demand at the pump and the price of crude oil is lower.
