LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- A police manhunt is over West of a Washington Mutual bank at Ventura and Topanga Canyon in Woodland Hills. Authorities have apprehended 3 wanted men in a kidnapping and attempted robbery.
Around 2.30 p.m.. three suspects approached a man at Pierce College and forced him at gunpoint into their car. Then, they took the victim to the Washington Mutual. The suspects attempted to rob him after forcing him to make a withdrawal from an ATM.
A bank customer noticed something was wrong and called 9-1-1. Police responded and chased the suspects on foot westbound on Ventura.
