Chula Vista, CA (CNS)  -- An Amber Alert remains active today for a 16-year- old girl who police say was abducted at knifepoint in Chula Vista by her estranged boyfriend.

The alert was issued yesterday after 20-year-old Carlos Antonio allegedly abducted Ashlee Crocitto at about 8:45 a.m. from the 1300 block of Santa Ynez Avenue, said Chula Vista police Lt. Buddy Magor.

Antonio is Latino, about 5 feet 8 inches and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

He was driving a teal-colored Hyundai Accent with a loud muffler and California license 4EPA103, Magor said.

Crocitto, who is four months pregnant, is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts was urged to call Chula Vista police at (619) 691-5151, Magor said.
