PEDLEY (CBS) -- A 14-year-old boy died and two other teens were hospitalized after they were stabbed in an area west of downtown Riverside Friday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Riverside County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene at about 9:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Limonite Avenue in the unincorporated area of Pedley. They found three teenage boys, all described as Hispanic, suffering from stab wounds, Sgt. Dennis Gutierrez said.
One of the victims, 14-year-old Adan Aparicio, of Riverside, died from his injuries at a local hospital at 10:30 p.m., Gutierrez said.
No further information was released.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, Gutierrez said.
